And I think he was right.

This is what I don't appreciate in your post:

The PP Seal subject in itself was a proof if necessary that negative opinions can be expressed when respective of the people, fair, and constructive. In fact I felt nearly alone to defend the PP Seal and was even surprised that with such opinions those expressing them could even imagine buying another PP ever?

You don't have to sing praise. Nobody has. Not everybody do!

On the contrary I don't understand the meaning of the title of your post after reading the content of the post. Aren't they expressing contradictory opinions?
