a very elegant chrono.dress watch (not too big, not too small).
I'm looking at the the most recent Antiquorum catelog (2nd page) shows a vintage Patek 1463 two register chronograph. The similarities are clearly apparent,... right down to the straight sword hands, and roman numerals at 6, and 12 o'clock. By the way, I really love the two roman numerals,... very elegant, and very 1940's.
The 1463 still wins (IMO), due primarliy to having a more narrow bezel (adding a further touch of understatement and refinement)
However, the 5170 is certainly a true modern contender, and should find itself in the "skip a turn and move to the classic category" in very short order,... especially with the very cool and rare pulsation dial (in the Patek vintage world, this dial would command some serious coin).
