By: jml_watches : February 16th, 2017-15:05
HI Thought id post both my oldest & the one I've had the longest First the oldest - a fabulous Futurematic - circa 1953. Took 3 years hunting to get this one. Not sure how long they were made , but not long so prob 1956 latest. Oris Big Crown pointer date...
Love the futurematic...
By: andrewluff : February 17th, 2017-05:04
I have a friend who has one and you rarely see them these days. Certainly one watch that kept up with the future as is as good on the wrist today as when produced. Yours looks in great shape too. Cheers Andrew
G that is nice...
By: andrewluff : February 17th, 2017-05:05
Reminds me of an old Rolex but with a touch of reverso in the case too. Love the engraving on the side, a thing we have seen appear in some recent watches. Cheers Andrew
Oh, my. Pre-war vintage . . .
By: Dr No : February 17th, 2017-14:33
. . . Andreas Huber, Para, Stowa, et al., are rarely found here. Don't know if German manufacturers at that time had American distribution, but I've never come across one in the metal. Intrigued, Art
By far my Connie

Guess the Connie has got something special for a lot of vintage collectors. Often I wonder how some of those old Omega\'s are so cheap compared to their Rolex counterparts (if you get my drift).
Two really cool watches.
By: TheMadDruid : February 16th, 2017-17:02
The Constellation has a lot of history, and yours is very special.
Very nice entries.

I like the names. Maybe I should start naming my watches to completely drive my wife insane.

I didn't understand just how the WS threads work here as its confusing having a WS 13th Feb that isn't actually posted until the 19th but I will get the hang of it soon. Anyway my oldest watch is a circa 1974 Omega Baby PloProf 166.0250 and here are some ...

I had a summer job delivering blueprints all over Washington D.C. for an architecture firm. I felt like it was time for me to have a real watch, so I bought this Seiko from a fancy jewelry store near my office. Still have it. HAGWE! ...

Well this is not my oldest watch but it is the one I have had the longest.
By: mpg13 : February 16th, 2017-20:48
I bought this new in the early 80's. I think it was Seiko's first analog quartz chronograph. 15 jewel movement, Teflon coated titanium case and bracelet. It was state of the art at the time! It's been a couple decades since I changed the battery, maybe I ...
Good to dig out the old ones...
