See any "problem"
Other than that a "pilot theme" watch has nothing related to the history and tradition of this company as it has instead with the IWC's one.
Now, history and tradition are the basis of the whole poetic narrative printed every day by the press agencies of these great companies, something on what they leverage day by day since, less or more, half a century (since the advent of quartz watches during the early 70's).
So, at least, is a little bit "annoying" to learn, every day more, all this is just "fog" in the eyes, when the business rules and the market calls
I would have rather preferred, just to say, a manual Calatrava finally at last with a decent movement other than the bread and butter poor and ordinary JLC818 (PP215) placed everywhere in the last 30 years, in honour - for once truly - to the tradition of the beautifully designed and finished vintage manual movements in size of 10 or 12 lines housed in many beautiful Calatrava from the past; but i guess making this pilot-like watch is much cheaper and costless than do a new and beautiful manual winding ultra thin movement, and a lot more easier too
Then the "problem" is not this watch itself, but what it represents (together with many others of the modern age) in terms of the vision of the future the owners imagine for their company.
Once upon a time there was a company called Patek Philippe....
