Patek Philippe: Absolutely Gorgeous

Wasn\'t even intrigued when I saw a photo online, but when I saw one in person was captivated by its beauty. Wear it every day!! Appreciate the complex yet sophisticated dial.

Patek Philippe: I agree with her

This is by far the most aesthetically appealing watch currently available from any manufacturer (IMO). In a couple of years when my 5146 goes in for service, who know's, I may break down and get one. I actually prefer the WG version, but both are stunning.

Patek Philippe: Luv this piece

I'm not a collector like most of you on the list, just wanted a nice watch to wear on a daily basis (except exercise and golf). Have had my 5146r for 14 months and still incredibly accurate (about 15 s a month fast). Best part is that no one at work has any idea what it is, they just know it's not a

Patek Philippe: Whatever you love on your wrist

As I've previously posted, I bought a 5146 because I loved the look and feel, and it has proven itself to be durable enough to be my everyday watch. Whatever you decide, make sure its the one you will wear and enjoy the most, don't keep it locked up in a vault!! The greatest challenge is how gorgeou

Patek Philippe: 5146 Owner Preparing for March 1

I'm the proud owner of a PP 5146 that I wear daily. I love everything about it, the looks, the feel and the fact that no one at work has any idea what it is. Not considered flashy like a Rolex,Omega, or even TAG. When it comes time to adjust the watch at the end of February, I want to keep the proce

Patek Philippe: Guidance for defective 5123r

A few months ago, I tried on and purchased a 5123r from my local AD. Wore the watch around the house for a few weeks and found it to be running about 10s fast per day. My AD told me to bring it back and he would ship it to Stern in NYC for service. He made a good faith effort to call them and they a

Jaeger-LeCoultre: Thx for guidance

Thank you everyone for your input. I was guided to an independent watchmaker in a city I travel to frequently by a JLC AD. He changed the battery, thought the mechanism looked great, and leak checked the watch and it passed. Minimal expense and watch runs well. Told me standard battery and gaskets a
